The History: Cuban Missile Crisis
The Cuban Missile Crisis began when Nikita Khrushchev met with Fidel Castro and proposed a daring idea. To gain an advantage in the delicate balance of the Cold War, they would sneak an arsenal of nuclear missiles to Cuba. From there they could strike prime targets in the Western Hemisphere before there was time for retaliation. Khrushchev referred to this secret plan as “Putting a hedgehog down Uncle Sam’s pants.”
And that concludes our imaginary scene in history.
